Help! Urgent liver transplantation is required!
On the 20th of May, 2008 our plane landed in Changi airport (Singapore). We are grateful for your help due to which we were able to complete the most detailed diagnostic that is theoretically possible nowadays. Singapore medical specialists proved the diagnosis made by Ukrainian doctors that is “cholangiocarcinoma or malignant tumour of gall ducts”. Urgent liver transplantation from an alive donor is required. According to Ukrainian legislation such an operation can not be fulfilled as only a relative can be a donor. And I have only a mother who is rather old for this operation and besides, she has a different blood group (first positive blood group). There is another situation in Singapore: liver transplantation from an alive donor is possible provided that the donor has the same blood group and “emotional connection with a recipient”. The cost of the operation is Euro 120.000,00
I am 32 years old and I live in Donetsk city (Ukraine). My future profession is a builder. My previous occupation is a designer. But now I am a first-group invalid.
I have got serious problems with my liver.
Our Ukrainian doctors are not able to make a final diagnosis. Some of them say that it is primary sclerosing cholangitis, others state that it is a tumour (Klatskin’s
Cholangiocarcinoma in portal fissures). At the present moment Ukrainian doctors can not help me. However, Singapore doctors responded to our inquiry for help. They can make an operation and carry out the treatment. After sending the results of diagnostic made in “Eurolab Laboratory” in Kiev (the capital of Ukraine), Singapore doctors diagnosed as follows: Cholangiocarcinoma of liver ducts. And they sent an offer and a Proforma Infoice for their services.
The diagnosis is very serious and an operative measure is required. I have already been operated twice. There are two tubes for gall drainage located in my liver in order to reduce bilirubin level in blood. Unfortunately, it doesn’t become lower. Our doctors have no idea why this operative measure has no positive results.
It states to reason that if a person has such a disease, his life is sure to be shortened. Judging by statistics the duration of life is about one year. Irreversible processes might start due to mechanical icterus: its cells become weaker and die under gall invasion. As a result gall acids get into blood acting as a poison for any organism.
I need a plenty of money to make an expensive additional diagnostic and operation. I don’t work at the present moment, my mother is an invalid (the diagnosis is “arthrosis of coxofemoral bone”), she could hardly walk and she doesn’t work either. The only person rendering me assistance is my girl-friend. Moreover, I need money for everyday supporting therapy.
I do want to live! I admire life, I appreciate it and enjoy its every moment. This feeling penetrates us rather sharply when one can realize that he can lose his life at any moment. It strikes me to think that if only every person in the world could escape from everyday routine and could value beauty of the world around, our life would be full of a great number of wonderful and happy moments!
